The original version
I decided to convert the essay into an Infographic because I wanted to make the information less boring by the insertion of images and colors. The Infographic is also a summary of my original written paper as it displays some of the significants points that I have made in my work previously.
This Infographic has been created based on the Essay from English 1007 course. In the original version, I wrote a paper about La Llorona and how her story has influenced social and geographical factors of a ghost story. Reflecting on the information included in the paper, I filtered out and shorten the writings into bullet points that included in the Infographic.
As the Infographic topic is ghost story, I chose the dark color themes (Black, grey, white, red) to provide a haunted overview. I also included some elements such as smoke and grain in the background, cut-outs of La Llorona; icons such as ghosts, villages, location,...Overall, the Infographic has conveyed the ideas of what factors contributing to a successful ghost story, and how the story of La Llorona has achieved this goals.
